O’Neill Marine was developed by a boater who saw a need for no-slip docks and ramps. With this thought in mind, development began on two revolutionary patents which make O’Neill Marine docks and ramps different.

Docks

The Dual Arm Dock feature was patented in 1996 and construction began shortly thereafter. The dual arm dock allows installation of the dock without pilings allowing docks to remain horizontal regardless of water level. The result is a better, more durable dock which remains maintenance-free.

Ramps

Personal experience and National Statistics showing that 90% of all boating accidents occur on boating ramps, were key elements in the development of O’Neill Ramps. O’Neill Marine established their patent for ramps in 1999.
